After 20 successful years of winning races and setting records with Racing Engines, we demonstrated the very obvious; the Best High Performance Street Engines are built by people who actually design, develop and build the Best Race Engines.
The people who build the best race engines know that the most important engine components for developing more power and better performance are the cylinder heads. Our race winning and record setting race engines are equipped with custom modified cylinder heads, specially developed by Ned Erkman.
Ned understands that the best race engines and the best high performance street engines use the best custom modified cylinder heads and the best custom camshaft profiles for each unique engine application. So when Ned decided to take Corvette street engine performance to a higher level he custom modified Brodix cylinder head castings to develop his own brand of cylinder heads, the “SUPERCAR NEDHEAD” series, for the C1 to C6 engines equipped in 1955 to 2013 Corvettes.
The SUPERCAR NEDHEAD BN7 series cylinder heads for the 2006-2013 Z06 Corvette produce over 600 Rear Wheel Horsepower on a Mustang Chassis Dyno Test or 750+ BHP at the engine with a naturally aspirated LS7 engine equipped with a SUPERCAR NEDHEAD Phase 4 System.
The SUPERCAR NEDHEAD BN7 heads are currently avaialble for the LS7 engine. The NEW SUPERCAR NEDHEAD BN3 “Supercharger Series” cylinder heads will soon be available for Supercharged C6 Corvettes with the LS3 & LS9 engines. BN7 Supercharger Series Heads will also be available for LS7 engines. The SUPERCAR NEDHEAD BN1 "Supercharger Series" heads are in development for the LS1, LS6 and LS2 engines with superchargers. A Naturally Aspirated 500 to 600 horsepower capable SUPERCAR NEDHEAD BN 11X head is also being developed for C1 to C3 Corvettes equipped with small block Chevy engines and SUPERCAR NEDHEAD BNLTX head will be available for the LT1 & LT4 engines in C4 Corvettes. All SUPERCAR NEDHEADS are designed for street engine applications incorporating advanced race cylinder head technologies.
Ned also specializes in custom modifications to production Corvette cylinder heads and original equipment intake manifolds that work with his custom designed camshaft profiles.
